To Our Troops...

For all of the many days away
And the nights you’ve spent alone
For all of the time you have given
The love and dedication you have shown.

For all of the things that you’ve been through,
The sacrifices you have made
Whether sitting in an office
Or dodging bullets and hand grenades.

Perhaps you are floating on a ship
Or flying a jet fighter through the sky
Flying a chopper, or riding a tank
Or--watching your buddies die.

With an open heart full of appreciation,
We send our love and gratitude to you
Thank you for keeping watch over us
Thank you for all that you do.

Our hearts are filled with nothing but pride
As our precious flag is unfurled
Because of you maybe some day
We will know peace around the world.

Thank You To Each And Every One Of You
Serving In The Armed Forces
Protecting Freedom And Our Country
And Fighting For World Peace…
